Pro-Vionic Labs Ltd was born out of a passion for vinyl preservation. As dedicated collectors ourselves, we understand that a vinyl record is more than a physical medium it is an investment in sound, history, and culture.
For years we watched the market fill with cleaning fluids that rely on aggressive formulations. Many contain Isopropyl Alcohol or Ethanol alongside undisclosed additives. These carry a documented risk to the adhesive bond between the diamond stylus tip and cantilever, a risk that some cartridge manufacturers have noted in their product documentation
Disappointed by the lack of genuinely safe, genuinely transparent options, we chose to develop our own.
The Pro-Vionic Approach: Pure and Transparent
Our formula contains two ingredients. There is nothing else.
Certified distilled water, UK-produced and certified by Certificate of Analysis to <5mg/L total dissolved solids at pH 5.8.
Non-ionic surfactant at less than 5%, a gentle wetting agent that mobilises contamination from the groove surface, and without any compound classified as hazardous under UK GB CLP Regulation.
A final rinse with Pro-Vionic Ultra-Pure Distilled Water is recommended for archival-standard results, removing any remaining trace from the groove surface.
No isopropyl alcohol. No ethyl alcohol. No organic solvents. No undisclosed additives. Just two ingredients, honestly formulated, for the music you love.
PRO-VIONIC 10
Pro-Vionic 10 has been placed with a select group of independent record dealers and specialist audio retailers for independent evaluation ahead of our commercial launch. Initial feedback has been exceptional including an in-store demonstration on a visibly dirty record that produced an immediate, striking result. We will publish verified dealer and customer reviews here as they are received. We believe the product speaks for itself. We are confident enough in that belief to have invited independent scrutiny before asking anyone to buy.

At Pro-Vionic Labs Ltd we stand fully behind our product. Our claims are backed by verified supplier documentation and regulatory compliance, ensuring complete transparency for our customers. PRO-VIONIC 10 is not classified as hazardous under UK GB CLP Regulation and requires no hazard warnings or symbols on its packaging.
Why We Do Not Sell a Concentrate
We maintain complete confidence in our cleaning fluid because we control every element that goes into it. For this reason we do not offer a concentrated version. If a concentrate were diluted with standard tap or unspecified water, the entire solution would be compromised the mineral content, pH, and purity of the dilution water directly determines the quality of the final product. By providing exclusively ready-to-use formulas, we guarantee that the solution touching your vinyl is exactly as formulated.
The Science of Our Water
Many vinyl cleaning products use water that is never specified, never tested, and never certified. Ordinary deionised water removes metals and minerals but carries no certified purity specification consistency between batches is not guaranteed. Standard distilled water sold for domestic use is produced to a basic grade with no defined conductivity or TDS standard.
Pro-Vionic 10 uses UK-produced ultra-pure water, 0ppm, certified by Certificate of Analysis. Calcium content is below 0.1 mg/L, effectively zero. On evaporation from the groove surface, this water leaves no meaningful mineral deposit.

This was a deliberate, strategic decision made at the very inception of our business. By keeping our entire supply chain within the UK, we maintain rigorous firsthand oversight over quality control, ethical manufacturing standards, and material traceability.
